PROPS
The Witch Is In Wooden Sign
Materials: White Paint, Rope, Premade Wooden Sign, Black Wooden Tag, Metal Hook, Oak Wood Stain. Time: Approximately 3 hours. Additional Details: This was made for a witch character to hang on her "house". One side of the tag says in and the other says out, with open and closed eyes as appropriate. Mad Max Motorcycle Helmet
Materials: Premade Helmet Prop, Acrylic Paint, Clear Coat. Time: Approximately 2 hours. Additional Details: When painted there was several details that I wanted to make sure I added, bullet holes and the handprint. There was also the detail of the band of the goggles "smearing" the blood, which isn't visible in the photo. Robot Antenna Light Up Headphones
Materials: Pretzel Jar Lids, Soap Dispensing Sponge Scrubber Handles, Round Pen Clicker ends, Noisemaker Pieces, Headband, LEDs, White Spraypaint, Blue Spraypaint, Plastic Glue. Time: Approximately 3 days. Additional Details: The vents on the sides make it easier to hear and less insulated so to avoid overheating the circuits inside. The LEDs are red, green and blue. There are holes on the ends to make room for cute cell phone charms and accessories. Pocket Cloning Machine
Materials: Deviled Egg Tray, Set of "Army Toys", specifically the canteen, the top of the walkie talkie and the grenade, Plasticizing Glue, Silver Acrylic Paint, Silver Rub n Buff, Red & Yellow LEDs, Black Stock Paper, Miniature Baby, pink Acrylic Paint. Time: Approximately 5 hours. Additional Details: The cloning machine is intended to be worn on the hip, with a small band. When the lights are on it glows orange, illuminating the small "fetus" making it appear it was floating in amniotic fluid. Magical Girl Sneakers
Materials: Premade Pair of Sneakers, Masking Tape, Rainbow Shoelaces, Fabric Paint, Acrylic Paint, Fabric Medium. Time: 2 hours. Additional Details: Making sure the eyelets and the rubber were not painted was the most painstaking part of this project. Post Apocalypse Watch
Materials: Watch, Acrylic Paint, Glue. Time: 4 hours. Additional Details: I broke the face and glued it back together so that it would look smashed. I specifically stepped on it with a small rock to crack it but not make it shatter then coated it in glue. I wanted to make sure the watch still worked as well. The paint was specifically made to look as if it was taken off of someone, muddy and bloody and a bit tarnished (hence the green.) Radio Collar
Materials: Strip of Faux Leather with Buckle, Black Plastic Dial, Red and Green LEDS, Popsicle Shaped Bubbles Bottle, Plasticizing Glue, Black Spraypaint. Time: Approximately 2 Hours. Additional Details: The popsicle shape makes up the body and the stick of the bubble blower holds the stick handle of the bottle as a radio antenna. The bottle itself holds the batteries and the dial adjusts the "frequency". "Bureau of Balance" Bracer
Materials: Thin Craft Sheet Foam, Silver Duct Tape. Time: Approximately 30 Minutes Additional Details: Despite how simple this project was it turned out really well and the tape held up super well. The BoB logo turned out perfectly, and despite being obviously made of tape, it looks fantastic both up close and at a distance. This project was more of a test of ability and structural intregrity of cheaper products. Temporal Displacement Paradox Diffuser
